this better not be about the tulips – Punta Cana, Dominican Republic Destination Wedding
Dayna and Francois were the first couple to book me for a destination wedding for my 2011 year – and it was in the beautiful Dominican Republic. I knew when I met this couple it was going to be a good time – and it was just that. From the moment I met this couple I felt more like I was apart of the wedding party than I was just a photographer. I became good friends with guests of the wedding, and found myself getting along so well with them. It was such a great trip, and I knew when I talked to them both at the airport, and they both agreed to me that they were so excited I was coming, and engagement session or not – they loved my work so much they were not worried at all. No pressure right? Nope! I was just so excited to work with people who let me have free reign with their wedding photos – mad with power maybe, but not nervous.
Their wedding was held at the Jelly Fish, a beautiful ocean front eatery. Here are a few images of their day – the trash the dress session to follow!
stunning much? I work such beautiful brides!
I absolutely love this image…the edging just does something magical.
Some of my favourite images…sigh so beautiful!
Oh Dayna, you just glow in these photos. You were both oh so easy to work with and photograph!
The Jelly Fish. My second time to this beautiful place, and hopefully not the last.
