I met Bobbi a few years ago through a mutual friend and was honoured when she asked me to travel up to Grande Prairie to photograph her wedding. The weekend started off a bit interesting, on our travels up we ended up being delayed 2 hours due to a washed out road. On the way home we were delayed due to a fuel truck on fire. Needless to say, it was a very eventful weekend – and SO worth it.
Having never met Carl (Bobbi’s Fiance) I was a little worried. Especially since I had only met Bobbi once and we never did get a chance to do engagement photos. These two, hands down were so relaxed and chill. Bobbi you were are the definition of calm and relaxed. No matter what happened you seemed to just kick back and enjoy your day. It was so fun to work with you all morning.
The icing on the cake was when Carl saw Bobbi for the first time walking down that aisle. Bobbi talked about Carl so much and all the traits she loved about him, and you could tell he felt the same way. These two were wonderful. Bobbi’s smile lit up her face, and Carl responded with the best grin I have ever seen – you could just tell he was so proud that was HIS wife. You two were so cute together, and just the way Carl could make Bobbi giggle and laugh – you knew it was true and honest love.
Thank you to the both bridal parties for treating us SO well – we had so much fun and felt like guests the entire day. Thank you guys AGAIN for suffering through some incredibly hot weather in the afternoon, and inches upon inches of wet, muddy farm land.
